| Scientific observation introduces man to the mysteries of creation, and ultimately, to God’s eternal knowledge, wisdom and power. As stated by Albert Einstein, "science without religion is lame", which is to say, that science, unguided by religion, cannot proceed correctly, but rather, wastes much time in achieving results, and worse, is often inconclusive. Islam is a religion of reason that encourages science. Watch this film to see how the Qur’an leads the way to science by calling on people to reflect upon and examine the signs of creation around them. |

PROPHET ABRAHAM (AS) AND PROPHET LOT (AS)
Throughout history God has called people to the true path through the prophets He has sent them.
The aim of all these holy individuals has been one and the same: to call people to believe in God and to serve only Him. They relayed the Divine religion to humanity and demonstrated how to live the ideal life. Thus, these chosen servants of God represent the very finest model of superior characteristics, proper moral values, and ideal behavior and reactions to events.
Two of these blessed individuals are Prophet Ibrahim and Prophet Lut (peace be upon them). |

A SUPERSTITIOUS RELIGION IN MODERN TIMES: THE NEW AGE
The 1960s were a turning point for Western societies… The ruinous effects of two world wars, the atom bombs dropped over Japan and a string of events such as the Vietnam War provoked a huge reaction against the established order by American youth.
The situation was no different in European countries. Young people opposed existing orders and became caught up in perverted movements in a flagrant desire to “rebel” or “to attract attention.” Degenerate behavior and perverted beliefs were spread by the day.
Young people claiming to be opposed to war established a movement that would leave its imprint on the 1960s: This was the beginning of the hippy culture.
It seemed that the world was full of young people ready to fill the world with flowers all for the sake of peace. They believed that the way forward was to be natural and free.
In reality their perverse philosophy led them only to degeneration. |

MAGNIFICENCE EVERYWHERE
Assume that you have lived in one room since you were born. This room is completely bare without even a small window through which you could see outside. It is furnished with only a few pieces of plain furniture for your basic needs. Suppose that, in this room where you lead your life, you are provided with just a few kinds of food and drink necessary for you to survive...
Then imagine that you are taken out of this room where you have lived all your life and you see the outside world for the first time. In such a situation, what would you think of the world? |
